Hello Dear Friends!
I'd like to tell you about an exciting new journey I’m on! If you've ever had the desire to develop a business idea of your own, turn your side project into a full-time job or if you’re simply up for an adventure – come join me!
I’d like to introduce you to WildThingsSculptures.com
Over the last two years, I’ve been designing prototypes, researching, sourcing and establishing relationships with factories and creating a modern, playful & fun home décor collection. All the decorative, pop art inspired pieces can be mounted on your living room, bedroom, office, children's room and nursery room walls. A modern take on Deer and Antelope heads, 3D Diamonds in mirror finish, glowing fluorescent pink or black opaque and Wild fluttering pop off your wall groups of 3D butterflies. Lots more in the works and coming soon as well!
The Shop is open! Crowd fund a small, growing business!
As we get our small business off the ground, we're hosting a crowd funding campaign directly from the website. As a Wild Things investor, you’ll receive a direct return on your investment by purchasing a sculpture from the shop! Your investment will help us as we go into production - the more you invest, the greater negotiating power you're lending to help grow a small business. *Please note your purchase is 100% secure, Stripe (stripe.com) handles all our transactions. Also note, your sculpture(s) will ship from New York in early July, your investment is helping us as we go into production.
If you’re not familiar crowd funding, it’s a grass roots method of raising capital for a developed product or business idea through friends, family and social networks. Capital is raised incrementally across a large social network of investors to help get the product or idea off the ground.
Wild Things to come..
I'll be traveling overseas this month to meet with the factory and place my first production run! I'm working with a small factory in Shenzhen, China. While overseas, I'll also be meeting with new factories, checking out their showrooms and developing new ideas & prototypes relating to mixed media, natural wood and lighting fixtures.
While the factory is in production, I'll travel to Bali, Indonesia and work from an office made of bamboo alongside other entrepreneurs and people working remotely from all over the world. The co-working office is in the creative center of Bali, Ubud. For those of you who read or watched Eat, Pray, Love - Ubud is the town the 'Love' chapter of the story takes place. The office itself is called Hubud (www.hubud.org). At Hubud, they're about bringing entrepreneurs, writers, business owners etc., together from all over the world to learn and collaborate. They regularly hold workshops and seminars for entrepreneurs and, if you're interested, they have a podcast with lots of interesting speakers who are based out of the Hubud office. While in Bali, I'll be communicating with the factory in production, developing new prototype sculptures and connecting with you all on my blog, newsletter and social media!
After 4 weeks in Bali, I'll travel back to the factory as production wraps up to check everything is up to standard and packaged correctly before shipping. I'll also pick up my new prototype sculptures put into work during my time in Bali, then head back home to NYC.

All the best,
